When joining cardboard together there are a different variety of ways to do it, as this chair has to be made entirely of cardboard and no fixative can be used I will be exploring the different methods and identify the best! I will also have a brief look at any fixatives for reference.
Creasing.
When working with cardboard you need to create a bend to finish off your product, the neatest way to do this is to cease the cardboard. it also retains some of its strength as you are not creating a joint out of two pieces of cardboard. To do this you will need;
1. Cardboard
2. Ruler
3. Pencil
4. Blunt Knife
1. Using the ruler and pencil, draw your crease line on the cardboard.
2. Take the blunt knife and the ruler gently go over the line creating a groove in with the cardboard will bend along.
